Affiliate disclosure
Affiliate links on this tool
One link on this checker is an affiliate link, and it is the only paid relationship on this page:
- iVisa: the visa-and-travel-document service offered next to the verdict when the checker says an ESTA is required. If you order a document through it, the owner of this site earns a commission from iVisa. The merchant pays it, so it costs you nothing extra and does not change the price you pay.
That link carries rel="sponsored" and a disclosure notice next to it, in line
with the FTC endorsement guides (16 CFR Part 255) and EU transparency rules
(Directive 2005/29/EC). The ESTA application itself is never sold here: the
official route is always esta.cbp.dhs.gov, linked from the verdict at no cost
beyond the government fee, and we earn nothing from it.
This site also links to Amazon search results for practical gear. Those links are ordinary, untagged links: we are not in the Amazon Associates programme and earn nothing if you buy through them.
They sit in the clearly labelled "Before you fly to the U.S." gear block
underneath the checker. They carry no tracking tag and no rel="sponsored",
because that attribute tells search engines a link is paid and those ones are
not.
What affiliate links never touch
The checker's verdicts — ESTA eligibility, the fee, and your passport validity window — are computed from the public CBP ruleset only. No verdict, threshold, or piece of guidance on this site is influenced by monetisation, and the official application links always point to esta.cbp.dhs.gov and travel.state.gov, which pay us nothing.
