Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: 2026-06-15

This tool links to Amazon search results for practical gear. Those links are ordinary, untagged links: we are not in the Amazon Associates programme and earn nothing if you buy through them.

1. What affiliate links are

An affiliate link is one that pays the owner of this tool (José Manuel Volante González) a commission when you buy something after clicking it. There is not one on this tool. The Amazon search links in the gear block carry no tracking tag, so nobody pays us if you use them. If that ever changes, this page will say so before the link goes live, in line with the FTC's endorsement guides (16 CFR Part 255) and EU transparency rules (Directive 2005/29/EC).

2. Programmes we participate in

Not one. This tool is not enrolled in any affiliate network, and no partner pays us for a placement on it.

3. How this affects our content

No commission funds this tool, because there is none: nothing on this page pays us. Calculations, comparisons and recommendations come from the sources named on the methodology page, and there is no commission anywhere in the chain that could change them or their ordering.

4. How links are identified

There is no sponsored link to identify here today. Any affiliate link added later will carry the rel="sponsored" attribute in line with Google's guidelines and applicable transparency requirements.
